I hope you enjoy these pictures.
First, some pics of our house.
The "Lookout" - taken from the living room. I am holding Drake and standing in the master bedroom. The Lookout is handy for many things. Puppet shows, welcoming guests into our home, Shakespeare scenes, quick pouncing on unwanted intruders... the list goes on and on.
Upstairs hall - taken from top of stairs.
Drakes Bedroom- taken from top of stairs.
Carson's room- same spot.
Lookout and stairs- taken from living room.
Piano room (formal dining)- taken from the Lookout.
Family room- taken from kitchen.
Kitchen- taken from family room.
Living room - taken from piano room. Whose shoes are those, and what are they doing there?
Fireplace. The only thing we didn't take a picture of was the basement (spider haven).
Carson, before his haircut.
We found Carson sleeping like this one night, so sweet.
Caron and Drake, two great buddies.
Uhhh...
That's better.
Drake is becoming a handsome boy.
I don't know if you noticed anyything but those eyes. After putting the ribbon on he insisted we take a picture...eyes...so...big...blue...
In the apartment. Carson knows he can't go outside unless he has shoes on...
Mel is amazing. Everything you see here was prepared by her, and her alone. Ben and I just sat and watched...kidding. But seriously, she did it all her self, and she deserves the Medal of Mom award. My favorite was the turkey, and the pie.
After having a heart to heart with Drake, we decided it would be better if we cut off his dreadlocks. He was sad to see them go, but I think it was for his own good. We took a picture.
I've trained Carson. Whenever I say "Pretty Flowers..." he points to Mommy and says "...Pretty Mommy." What a charmer.
The water damage. Not something you want to see in the first week of home ownership.
Carson helping Mommy make some Christmas Goodies. I wish I could help.
