Drake Alvin Crockett

Weight: 8 lbs 15 oz
Length: 21.25 in
Labor: 10 hours, no epidural, lots of meconium but no aspiration, phew
Drake latched right out of the womb and is a great nurser.
David had to have an emergency "floor sit" because he wouldn't have made it to a chair, but overall kept his composure very well.

Oh, Congratulations! I have been thinking about you every day and now I'm kicking myself for not calling sooner. I am so excited for you! He is a beautiful baby. Way to go without an epidural again. I hope it was easier than Carson was. I really want to talk to you, but I don't want to call at a bad time- call me if you get a spare moment.

I completely forgot you were that far along! Congratulations! Way to go on the no epi, and for David staying conscious (my husband is the same way):). You must be so happy, he's a beautiful baby, and I LOVE the name- unique but not weird.

We sure love you guys! Congrats on the new future quarterback. Maybe you can get a Peyton/Eli Manning thing going Crockett style.

P.S. We're coming into Boise this January. We should get together if you'll be there!

I'm so mad at myself for not seeing your blog yesterday when you posted this. I wanted to be one of the first to comment on Drake's arrival, but here I am a day late and 100 millionth down on the comments. Well, it shows you're loved by many. I am so happy to hear that you are well, despite the emergency daddy floor sit. I wish I could see your little man number two in person right now. He sure looks adorable in the pictures. If you are sitting around in the coming days or weeks and have a spare moment (haha), give me a call so we can catch up. Or, let me know when a good time would be for you and I can give you a call.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY!! I wish we were close so I could hold this other giant baby! Congratulations.

PS Was the all naturale labor 100% easier this time, or just a hard?
